Dominion

Today many believers are facing spiritual climate change. Some may not recognize this change but it’s there. I come to declare that God has called us back to His spiritual understanding and likeness.

Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and perfect, will of God.

Dominion-the power to rule: control:

You may be wondering why this particular passage of scripture.  This passage allows us to deal with an ever pressing problem: Self. Our flesh (self) can hold us hostage and will interfere with us experiencing a true relationship with God. The mind becomes contaminated with philosophical idealism and not the spiritual enlightenment of Christ. It creates a void that hinders us from receiving revelation from God.  A clear relationship with the Savior is a must and nothing can get in the way.

Once dominion it is lost the struggle really kicks in and will take over. It causes us to withhold our commitment to the things of God, will also cause us to not submit to others to complete the work of God. (Luke16:12)

The life that Jesus prescribed for us is different from what many churches offer today. The Christian life is one that requires total submission to Christ. This life is essentially the faith of following Him. It is fundamentally about giving up your right to run your own life. It is living the life that Jesus lived, the life to which He has called every disciple to live.  It is giving up our will for the will of God, which is perfected just for you.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Let us make the decision today, choose this day whom you will serve.  (Joshua 24:15)
